"You don't have to put on the red light" is a lyric from Sting's song "Roxanne," same name as the heroine of "Cyrano de Bergerac." I wouldn't have figured it out. Like Ryan, I'd try to to recall which of these plays features a prostitute.

Was Roxanne a prostitute in the original work? I didn't think so, but maybe in the Broadway she was.
