RIP H. R. Giger

Swiss artist best known for designing the creature in Alien, along with set design work on other motion pictures such as Species. He won a special effects Oscar for Alien. His artwork tended towards the highly bizarre:

Did he do the album cover for ELP's Brain Salad Surgery?? The one on the right looks similar.

He also designed a Batmobile that was not used by Batman Forever director Joel Schumacher:
