HOME!!!

#1 Post by T_Bone0806 » Thu Apr 24, 2014 12:05 pm

OK, don't know how many have noticed, but I haven't been around lately. Reason? I checked into the hospital on March 30th..pneumonia, with cellulitis on the right leg/foot. Pneumonia was pretty much gone by the end of the first week, but the leg issues, coupled with my muscular dystrophy issues, made getting out of bed for long periods of time difficult. Sent to a rehab facility two weeks ago tomorrow, finally home today after almost 4 weeks. Seem to be back to where I was before I got sick except I'm pretty tired. Doctor has me out of work until the middle of June but I anticipate returning much sooner than that. Couple weeks maybe? We'll see. Regardless, retirement definitely happening no later that the end of August. 5 day work weeks are getting too hard in the shape I'm in. Still, other than being tired, I feel better. For those who care, I had been working on finally getting the 2013 Boneys posted before getting ill, and because I can't stand to leave things unfinished, I still intend on getting it done, despite the fact that the few who cared in the first place probably couldn't give a rat's keester by now.
Gotta set up retirement stuff as well, which obviously has top priority, but as I said, I hate unfinished business...

Mr. Boneman! I'm so sorry you were so sicklike, there. What the whatty? Listen to the docs and don't overdo. But, congrats on retirement looming! Me, too, at the end of the year! Doesn't it just make a happy place in your head?

GET WELL!
Well, then

You've been missed, Sir Bone. Listen to your docs, do as you're told.

it's getting hard to tell if someone around here is just laying low, or actually out of commission! I had been wondering why you seemed to be absent so much lately.... hope all is better.

And ironically, thanks to Mecca Radio, this was the first year where I was really, really looking forward to The Boneys! (Not that I don't normally, but I expect to actually know more than just a couple of the songs this time around!) So naturally, that's why everything went wrong. I'm glad to see they will be, in the words of our promo guy, coming soon!

Missed you! Sorry you were under the weather. :(

Glad you're back! :)

Looking forward to the Boneys. Every time I hear a song on the radio that I recognize right away, I think of you.
