Happy birthday! I hope you don't find the day too taxing. (*Ducking and running*) --Bob

Catfish says:
My audition is May 10th at 3:00pm; The_Raven's is earlier the same day (Raven says so), same place (probably). (I am betting they slotted the people with higher scores earlier in the day! I just hope they aren't so amazed at Raven & those other earlier auds that they roll up the carpet before the 3:00pm-ers get there!) Anyway, thanks for asking.
I know everything you say about the J! crew in my "I got an aud!" thread is true because even though I didn't get to stay & be talked to after I probably flunked that real test the day after the 10Q test, the J! staff giving the 10 Q test were really treating the crowd for the 10 Q test well, even those who hadn't even taken the test. They held mock J! sessions, they gave away J! games (I believe I remember), they had members of the Clue Crew there, some of whom were crowd favorites.
I ran into one of them later that day at the fair or whatever the 10Q test was given at & the J!-staff-person remembered me out of the crowd & said "hi".
Nice people.
As opposed to the BAM interviewers, who these days when they see me say "did you take a bus here?..there's the door". I haven't even taken the BAM test again for a couple years. If they come back to Boston I will, but I've been in NYC a lot lately, to visit my sister who's caring for a relative there, & I haven't been motivated to go take the test.
At I think I remember the 1st aud I went to for BAM, the interviewers told the crowd "we've already picked the people we want (earlier in the day), you'll have to be extra-special to impress us". That's really demoralizing. Since you got the test/aud slot they gave you, & some of us got a later slot. I say this having actually impressed Sonny, & got on the show in the FF era, at a later aud. Where is Sonny when you really need him!
Thank you!

Yep. Charmers aren't they? Hmm. My successful Chicago audition was at 7:00 a.m. There may be some credence to this.ghostjmf wrote:At I think I remember the 1st aud I went to for BAM, the interviewers told the crowd "we've already picked the people we want (earlier in the day), you'll have to be extra-special to impress us". OMG! Sonny was awesome! I established a rapport with him during the mock game of one of my unsuccessful Michigan auditions, and the Jens got all pissy about it.ghostjmf wrote:I say this having actually impressed Sonny, & got on the show in the FF era, at a later aud.
