The lull here contrasts with a rare uptick in activity today on the PhoenixBored.

There weren't posting lulls like this even when the Bored was having server meltdown issues a while back....

I've just been overly busy, getting an elderly family friend into long term care, and also trying to bone up to apply for a higher position, doing mostly what I do now, but in more depth, and not just over the phone. The manager of our area really wants me to do well on the test, so she has been giving me files that are already complete, so I can follow the process.
As soon as they lift the hiring freeze, they will post the position, and I'll need all the white glares..
