RIP James Rebhorn

Veteran character actor. 65 years old. Always seemed to play a weasel: think Sec of Defense in "Independence Day."

Yes, and Scent of a Woman. Still, he was an excellent actor -- always fully believable in any role I saw him in.

Good grief, I'd forgotten about that. I doubt I'd remember any of the guys from the balloon stunt either, if I saw them in a current role.

Thanks for this thread. I knew I had heard this name but could not place it. The Independence Day reference did it for me.
