Observations March 2, 2014 - Cerebral

#1 Post by SportsFan68 » Sun Mar 09, 2014 11:49 pm

Today's observation is quoted with our thanks to JSuchard from a post of March 18, 2009.

She later went on to develop cerebral edema (swelling of the brain) probably as a result of "diffuse axonal injury," which is just a fancy medical term for the brains being shook up too hard, but the CT scan does not initially show any anatomic injury (such as bleeding into or around the brain).
