How do I quote only part of a person's post and have it be clear what I am quoting and where I started typiing?

Generally what I do is to copy and paste the header (the part that denotes the quote, as in [ quote='peacock2121' ] - but without the spaces), then type [ /quote ] - again without spaces - after the last word of the section I want to quote. There may be easier ways to do it.

That's what you do if you want to break up the quotes into multiple sections, with your own replies in between them. If you only want one quote box, you just highlight and delete the unwanted portions of the quoted text.

Oh! I have to delete the stuff after as well. Not sure how come I didn't get the little box thingie when I tried it.
