Tuesday evening we had an animal emergency. Our son called to ask if he and our younger granddaughter could come by the house because they had a "situation". When they arrived the "situation" was that the granddaughter's stuffed animal had split a seam and the beans with which it was stuffed were leaking out. The granddaughter was upset. elwing told her not to worry and after a few stitches the crisis was averted. Tears became smiles. This was her favorite sleeping toy, so it was a good thing "Dr. Marmie" was on call.
