This weeks shows (I know, shockingly on-topic!)

...and shockingly posted by me!

I believe my friend Steve Kaltenbaugh's show (or is it plural????) airs tomorrow. For those who care, Steve and I taped J! the same week about 8 years ago, sadly (or, for me, fortuitously) not in the same game, and he's wicked good, funny, nice... I kinda hate the kid, but have mucho respect. :-)

I highly recommend watching, even for you non-regular watchers. Sadly, my cable doesn't get installed until Saturday, but as I was in the audience watching, I already know how it turns out!
There is something wrong in a government where they who do the most have the least. There is something wrong when honesty wears a rag, and rascality a robe; when the loving, the tender, eat a crust while the infamous sit at banquets.

Steve is having a good year. He recently won on The Chase on GSN, and came to Austin for the Geek Bowl, where he joined a team of former Jeopardy Tournament of Champions contestants and helped them finish in second place. Fun fact: among his many talents, he speaks Korean.

Steve and 2011 J! TofCer Jay Rhee won $35K each on the Chase(the third player on the team didn't make it to the final round) on the 12/10/2013 episode. Steve played in Dave Madden game 20, where Victoria Groce beat Dave.

It was fun to watch Steve yesterday. Unfortunately, Mayor Nutter decided to speak at 12:30 today, so the end of Steve's run was preempted.

Yesterday the Austin station KEYE showed the wrong episode (same episode as the day before). I informed them of their error, so maybe they will get it right today.
