Prayer Request

#1 Post by mikehardware » Sun Feb 09, 2014 5:49 pm

I got a phone call from a niece this afternoon. My estranged brother has been in pretty bad shape. Heart attack a few years ago, diabetes, necrotizing fasciitis and a reaction to the anesthesia. He's finally gotten alert after several weeks and is expected to stay in a rehabilitation center in Battle Creek, MI for a couple of months. My brother is too weak to move or sit up, but I called him. He wanted to apologize, and I let him know I'd forgiven him long ago. That's our first good conversation since 1991.

I'm wanting to go up to see him, but he says the weather is too bad now. Maybe in a few weeks.

Thanks for your prayers and good vibes!

So glad to hear you two spoke. Hoping for healing for him and safe travel for you when you're able to make the trip.

You got 'em.

Thoughts, prayers & vibage his way. I'm glad you got to tell him you've forgiven him. That should help both of you.

My brother has had another heart attack. They're going to put in another stent. I spoke with him Sunday, and he sounded good then, happy that the rehab had stood him up for a few seconds, first time he'd been up in months.
