Lyrically Speaking - 2/5/14

#1 Post by Oswald Bates » Wed Feb 05, 2014 8:52 am

I was quite flatulated when LB asked me to decompose a Wacky Wednesday game for his testicular contest. I dug down deep into my suppository of carnal knowledge, and came up with these twelve cunnilingual songs that ejaculate such wonderful mammaries. This brothel of titular tunes calls to mind the great musical pioneer Dingle Berry... excuse me, Popped Cherry, who played the hyman like a masturbator. Being a gonad of the fancy word myself, I have chosen these twelve songs for their erectile words and odd vocabulary. I hope this game brings you great fornication and constipation, if I may be so pubical...

1 point for the title, 1 point for the artist...

1. If it seems a little time is needed
Decisions to be made
The good advice of friends unheeded
The best of plans mislaid

2. On ITV and BBC
They talk about the curse
Philosophy is useless
Theology is worse

3. I'm breaking in and shaping up
The checking out on the prison bus
This is it, the apocalypse
Whoa

4. Don't get me wrong
I'm really not souped
Ego trips is not my thing
All these strange relationships really gets me down
I see nothing wrong in spreading myself around

5. Wheels get locked in place
Stupid look on my face
It comes to makin' a pass, pretty mama
I just can't win a race

6. Beatniks and politics, nothing is new
A yardstick for lunatics, one point of view

7. And keep talking that mess, that's fine
Could you walk and talk at the same time
And it's my name that's on that Jag
So remove your bags
Let me call you a cab

8. I said 'ooh I like your style'
She said 'my car's broke down and you seem real nice, '
'Would you let me ride?'
I got a car full of girls and it's going real swell
The next stop is the east side motel

9. Born & raised as a rich man's son
You were always the restless one
Living high only made you low
So you packed up & hit the road

10. Reasoned verse some prose or rhyme
Lose themselves in other times
And waiting hopes cast silent spells
That speak in clouded clues

11. Is this the age of the thunder and rage
Can you feel the ground move round your feet
If you take one step closer, it`ll lead to another
The crossroad above`s where we meet I shout out for shelter,
I need you for something
The whole world is out, they`re all on the street

12. Sometimes you say you will, sometimes you say you won't
You always keep me waiting, waiting, hesitating, hey yeah
At times I think you do, at times I think you don't
My mind is rollerskating, skipping, jumping rope, and fading

Kroxquo Bonus: Name another song with artist that has an unusual or big word in its title.

5 Point Bonus: Besides Jim Carrey, name any one of the other three cast members of the show "In Living Color" who were regulars for all five seasons of the show's run.

Living high only made you low

Fanny Fun Fact: This was written by Ne-yo as a country song that he intended to sing himself. But he thought that it would sound too misogynistic if a man was saying it (even if it was true). And the rest is herstory.....two snaps up to the left, to the left!

I jwas quite flatulated when LB asked me to decompose a Wacky Wednesday game for his tensticular contest.

Fascination - Human League

2. On ITV and BBC
They talk about the curse
Philosophy is useless

3. I'm breaking in and shaping up
The checking out on the prison bus
This is it, the apocalypse
Whoa
Radioactive - Imagine Dragons (I would've normally used The Firm's 80's hit here which I have always liked, but I gotta give props to the Dragons on this great song...)

'Would you let me ride?'
I got a car full of girls and it's going real swell
The next stop is the east side motel
Regulate - Warren G and Nate Dogg (The short-lived 90's station I listened to back in 2011-12 used to play this every once in a while... and it just always sounded like the cheesy redheaded stepchild of gangsta rap...)

9. Born & raised as a rich man's son
You were always the restless one
Living high only made you low
So you packed up & hit the road
Ragamuffin Man - Manfred Mann

I think all of the correct answers for this one were for D.A.G... and in fact, he was the only answer who wasn't a Wayans brother (or sister). While their family did bring the show to life, by the last season, every last one of them had already split the scene and the show went on without them....
