On January 31, 2001, Ace made one of his typical smartass comments that he took note of the contestant sitting in Seat 9, who was brightly lit up and visible (something that somehow got "fixed" when the shows went to reruns on GSN), over Regis' shoulder all night licking his ear. That contestant, of course, was me... and the ear licking story stuck with me for a long time.... though apparently it has gone by the wayside since nobody who played the game was able to make the connection that it had been the anniversary of my WWTBAM airdate. One person did know, but though she intended to play this game, apparently got distracted, forgot, or maybe both....

My answer was actually going to be that it was the 13th anniversary, so I demand extra credit to my non-existent points!! And extra credit for actually knowing how to spell existence, I think that one bugs me more than definately.....

Actually my original krox was going to be from White Walls from Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and I was going to include a fun fact about the Sir Mix-a-lot cameo at the end, but you crabbed that deal by using Baby Got Back in the game. Even if you hadn't, I wouldn't have been feeling kindly toward that trio of Seattle-ites by the time I answered, so maybe I wouldn't have used it even if I hadn't already decided on a new one.

Sorry to report that me and PaBeast watched in a state of bemusement. I mean, it's kind of hard to root against a guy like Peyton Manning and Denver, especially given how many of my BFF's here had major rooting interest in the team, but it always warms my heart to see a huge favorite get their clock completely cleaned in a big game like that by a team nobody expected to do much but show up and collect their second place bonus checks....
