Vancouver Island winter?

Mount Washington, a major ski resort that is usually the first to open in Canada, has closed after only 14 ski days, due to lack of snow.

Here is Victoria, the blossoms are on the cherry trees, the polyanthus are in full bloom, and I have taken the lining out of my rain coat.

Winter?

What's a rain coat?

It's a tough job being the tropical resort of Canada, but somebody's got to do it. 8)
