Cory Monteith Fans Upset at Grammys Spelling Blunder

#1 Post by silverscreenselect » Mon Jan 27, 2014 3:04 pm

Apparently, Oscar viewers aren't the only ones who get upset about the memorial tributes during awards shows. Fans of Cory Monteith are angry because his name was spelled "Montieth" during the In Memoriam segment of the show. One fan, who obviously doesn't have much of a life, says that the error was "like a stab in the heart all over again."

No word yet on an official apology, but I'm sure one will be forthcoming.

My favorite, if you could call it that, Grammy Blunder was Alicia Keys saying "John Legend" instead of "John Lennon". She corrected herself immediately, but in the context it came out, paired with Yoko Ono I think, it was very weird.
