Wily IT folk

#1 Post by TheCalvinator24 » Thu Mar 20, 2008 9:46 am

Yesterday, the CBS page to watch the NCAA games online was accessible. Today, it is blocked as "Internet TV and Radio".

I didn't sign up for the VIP pass anyway, so the wait to get "in the room" was going to be ridiculous.

Golly.... they actually expect people to work during March Madness and attempt to block ways that people can/will loaf.

Wily is not the word I would use.

Forward thinking might be one (well, two) I would use.

Co-worker just got in on the "general admission" route. I joined that line about 1/2 hour ago and was originally 117,000 in line, I am now at 6,000. If nothing else it has been fun to watch the "lines". Btw, what would have a VIP pass cost, if at all?

Ya, lot a work getting done here today.

Just got in!!!!!

VIP Passes were free. You just had to sign up in advance.

Pea, get out your "pom poms" for these teams:
UCLA
Vandy
Notre Dame
Miss. St.
AZ
Nova
W. Kent
Mt. St. Marys

We had 2nd pick (snake draft with 8 teams) in our annual $$ pool.

Interesting, I am watching the game, it is just the game, no announcers. And yes, I have the volume on, you can "hear" the crowd, whistles etc.

Forget it on Mt St Mary's - no way I am pom poming for them - not for Arizona, either.

I have my own darn bracket to pom pom for, sweetie.

I expect they're more concerned with everyone eating up their bandwidth.

Didn't help GW. She used mine yesterday to try and watch KU and was still umpteenth in line.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.
