Gone to the dogs in North Korea

#1 Post by Bob78164 » Fri Jan 03, 2014 9:31 am

There are reports that Kim Jong Un executed his uncle, Jang Song Thaek, and some of his top aides by feeding them to a horde of 120 starving hounds. The report also says that Kim supervised the whole process, which lasted for an hour. --Bob

Expect protest from PETA for starving the dogs before feeding them.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

That's just your culturally biased, western centric view of journalism, in a culture where dogs are on the menu, dog eats man is newsworthy. :D

It looks like this story originated from a known satirist on a microblogging Web site. --Bob
