Happy New Year!!

#1 Post by mellytu74 » Tue Dec 31, 2013 6:36 pm

We have been watching The Twilight Zone marathon.

At 8 p.m., we start the That's Entertainment marathon on Turner Classics.

As soon as I finish these drafts for January 2 (polishing tomorrow), I will get dressed for our big night. Teal velour lounge pants.

Boonie's quesedillas for dinner, my scallops wrapped in bacon for our cocktail party. We are such bon vivants.

I'm watching TZ too. Have I ever mentioned that "Time Enough At Last" is very overrated?

Just me and the cats tonight... not that I'll be up long past midnight anyway.

Sounds Muy Comfy!

Me and the BoyZ and Mr. Glenfiddich will be watching Deathly Hallows I. Big J is already asleep. He was diagnosed with strep throat today, and in on antibiotics. Wonderful way to celebrate your first "of age" New Year

I babysat Matias from about 8 to 3, helped bottle MatiasGrandpa's first effort at winemaking, had some pizza with all the helpers, then came home to hang out with y'all until I fall asleep.

Times change.

Years change.

That explains why I haven't had any trouble grabbing the year's first post. Happy New Year! --Bob

My favorite is the episode in which the guy's watching TV and the only thing on is a Twilight Zone marathon and at the end of the episode he realizes he's in Hell.
