I've mentioned it on social media, so I'll mention it here too. Maybe I'm overreacting, but I don't like Cedric "hurrying up" a contestant just to make a joke. Don't make contestants have the potential of being uncomfortable for working out a question just to get a laugh when they're analyzing the clues/hidden aspects of a question. I'm becoming less interested in the show with Cedric at the helm.

I don't think you're overreacting, Chad. Even though TDC has been terminated, the time a contestant has on a question is still a gray area, apparently under TPTB's control as to what they consider reasonable. But whatever that time is, a contestant deserves the chance to concentrate on the question without distractions from a host whose bantering skills are all dependent on joking around.

I'd heard of the Pig War when I visited the San Juan Islands on vacation. Although it did escalate into a border dispute (ultimately arbitrated by Kaiser Wilhelm I), the only casualty of the "war" was...a pig.
