If he didn't charge the hotel room as business expenses, this matter is over as far as I'm concerned, as he was forgiven by the only one with any authority to forgive or judge him for infidelity- his wife.

His wife had an affair at the same time that he did, but that was when their marriage was on the rocks, so it's a non-issue.

I always wonder what those Family Values folks think about the preservation of marriage and denying gay folks the right to marry when it seems marriage is just something you do between affairs ...

Funny, I haven't heard a lot from them lately now that the Republican nominee is on his third wife.

Why haven't all the Republicans denounced David Vitter as much as they did Elliot Spitzer.....

I guess spending time with $300 hookers shows better values, or at least a sense of the value of money, then spending time with $5000 hookers.

The day the Dems lead the charge in being critical of their own when they mess up and the GOP leads the charge in being critical of their own when they mess up, instead of eagerly pouncing on whatever the opposing side does wrong, is the day I'll believe that both sides aren't simply practicing double standards.

Especially you, Mr. "Lead off with party affiliation when it's a Republican, but not when it's a Democrat" Silverscreenselect.

Neither side can seize the moral high ground here- they both criticize their opponents for sins they ignore in their own.

I'm surprised Vitter hasn't made it to the late night talk shows more often--after all, he made the hookers put diapers on him! Now that's a freaky image for a family man!

She would certainly have to give up her 'victim' act if this is all true.

She would have to give up the right to appear on the news shows after other political figures have their spouses stand next to them during a confession of personal/legal lapses.

I do wonder why her ex did not let this leak way before this.

Obviously, I don't know what happened. I always remain dubious, however, about shocking revelations that come out in the middle of legal battles. (Their divorce case is not over.)

You'd think that if he was so concerned about his 6-year-old daughter, he wouldn't be issuing press releases saying that Mommy was involved in three-ways.
