(212) False alarm
I got a call today from a Millionaire AP. It proved to be a false alarm. She said that due to a computer glitch they had lost many of the Las Vegas videos and for legal reasons need to have something on file. So they'd like me to do another taped audition, using Skype or something similar. The AP assured me that I am definitely in the Pool and that this is merely a paperwork issue on their end. (Incidentally, this seems to confirm that the failure to receive a video interview is fatal.) --Bob

Being a lawyer, did you ask what the legal reasons are, or do you know off hand what the S&P issue is for them to have a video on file?

Back in the Stone Age, they used to take Polaroid pictures of auditioners. I think it's to prove that you really auditioned.ten96lt wrote:Bob78164 wrote:I got a call today from a Millionaire AP. I didn't ask, but that's probably it. That would explain why no one else who received ajarnon wrote:Back in the Stone Age, they used to take Polaroid pictures of auditioners. Gotcha, because I remember before the "speed date" interview, they take your picture with you holding a sign saying the city and date. I forgot they gave you a fast pass.Bob78164 wrote:I didn't ask, but that's probably it. P.S. I also think that's a very good sign they're having you do the Skype interview so they can have it in their files for legal reasons........ Like as if they're going to call you soon and need to have the paperwork in order.
