Greetings from New Jersey

I moved to Bernardsville, New Jersey Friday. Due to power problems, I wasn't able to get online until about 11 PM Saturday. The power problems are a lack of outlets. This house is over 100 years old and they don't have outlets every six feet like modern homes. I'm renting five of the 50-odd rooms of a mansion. It's across the road from where Mike Tyson and Robin Givens lived twenty years ago.

In case you're wondering what I'm doing posting at this hour, it's because I'm working all night on a disaster recovery test. We hit a bit of a lull so I had time to post this.

Tracy Morgan had a funny line on SNL tonight about Mike Tyson and Robin Givens. It had a political angle, so I won't repeat it here.

Is the whole mansion divided up into apartments now or does some old-money family need a few extra bucks to make ends meet?

It's the latter. New Jersey property taxes are killers. This place is taxed at agricultural rates too.
