Hola from Antigua

#1 Post by a1mamacat » Sat Mar 15, 2008 8:52 am

Hey peoples

Fannnnnnnntaaaaabbbuloussss!!!!

We are now in St. John's Antigua for the day. 1/2 way through and still having a great time. We have picniced on white sand beaches, and shopped, danced and imbibed muchly.

Yesterday, I swam with a most excellent dolphin named Zeus, and it is a memory that I will have forever. Tomorrow, we tour Castries on St. Lucia, and Monday I will snorkle for the very first time on a little island called Champagne.

Will post a mega report when I get home, but for now I need to send an email to Big J while I have some time left.

Mwah!!!!

Sounds like you're having a fantastic time! Zeus sounds very cool - that's something I've always wanted to do, but haven't yet accomplished.

We hit St Lucia on our cruise in December, but for the life of me I can't remember what we did there. It's all a blur, and I can't even blame it on alcohol.

Have a blast, Trish the Caribbean dish!

We're jealous! :P Have fun! Be safe and we'll await the full report when you get home.

Skoop, Skoop's mom and my girls all went swimming with the dolphins in the Keys last summer. It was well worth the money and the trip. I was the official photographer.

Have fun, Saucy!

But what's with the "Hola" business? Antigua used to be a British colony. 8)

I was in St. John, Antigua in 1996. We just went into town for the day, had lunch & a few beers and did some shopping.

Glad to hear you're having a great time. Enjoy and have one for me.

Sauce, it sounds the best! We visited Antigua and St. Lucia last year on our cruise. They were awesome. The water in Antigua looks fake.

Partay on!
Well, then

It is really great that you are enjoying your trip, taking advantage of all the great things to do. Vacate and come back refreshed!

Hey, Saucy. I went down to Antigua in the early 90's to oversee the installation of the slots in one of the casinos. Is the Royal Antiguan still up and running? Are any of the casinos still in play there?
