Brenna Gethers
Mt. Vernon, NY

Fans of "American Idol" might recognize Brenna - she was one of the top 10 girls on Season 5 before Simon, Randy and Paula sent her home. She's excited to be on the show - she's been screaming at Meredith on Tv for years. Meredith asks Brenna about her AI experience. She replies that it was a big risk. She only had 9 days for the audition and had no real singing experience. Her mom questioned her about this. Her mom, Robin, is in the relationship seat.

The only reason I knew this is because of good and bad military movies I've watched, starting with Top Gun, I suppose.

Yep, Top Gun immediately came to mind, making it a gimme.

(My first husband was in the background during one scene, so I was forced to sit through this movie a bazillion times  )

This was sad too, because the way it aired it sounded/looked like Meredith was enticing her into it. "Do you want to make that your final answer", or something like that. Of course, we don't know how much of the hesitation dance really went on beforehand.

IIRC, American Idol has age limits which already disqualify me.

What Else?
