Bryan Cohen (BB: nhbuffbc)
Chicago, IL
writer

Mere said it shows Bryan was once wrestling in a pool of Jell-O with an adult entertainer, what provoked that?
Bryan said it was in his freshman year of college, he stumbled into an event at the UNC campus and saw a kiddy pool filled with Jell-O with scantily clad ladies going around selling tickets.
He bought one and 20 minutes later he was wrestling one of them.
Mere said everyone in the audience wants to be Bryan
Mere said it's not fair, you're a guy, she's a woman, you're gonna overpower her probably.
Bryan: Not necessarily.
Mere: What was the goal?
Bryan: To win.
Mere: And what do you win?
Bryan: Acclaim.
Mere: Did you win?
Bryan: I, well, after I had flipped her up into the air and onto her back using a move.
Mere interrupts: I don't want to know more.

What U.S. President started the tradition of throwing out the first pitch on Opening Day of the Major League Baseball season?
A. Warren Harding B. Grover Cleveland
C. William Howard Taft D. Theodore Roosevelt
Spoiler
Bryan said the one that seems least likely is Taft since he knows Taft was pushing "three bills" that is 300 pounds while in office. He'd be funny to watch.
Bryan knows Theodore Roosevelt was quite athletic and believes he was a boxer. That would not necessarily mean he was pitching in MLB.
Mere reminded Bryan that he could walk with $20300, he could stay in the game and add as much as $2000 if right, but would lose his bank if he gets it wrong.
Bryan said it is a tough decision $20K sounds pretty good but so does Teddy Roosevelt. He is a Libra and sees the balance.
If he were a gambling man he would go with Teddy Roosevelt, but will walk with the $20K.

Congratulations! I guess you didn't hear me yelling, "It IS Taft!"

If you're thinking about Taft throwing out the first pitch from the mound to the plate, I can see how that would seem implausible.
However, classic photos show him doing it from the stands

Thanks Bob! I think the sounds of my mom yelling, "Walk away" were louder :). She didn't yell, but she used Cohen telepathy.

Yeah, I looked it up afterwards. It's such a different action nowadays (much less lazy) :). And thanks!

Taft is the universal answer to all Presidential baseball questions....

I'm embarrassed to admit I'd have gotten the White Castle question wrong since they're a huge deal around here, and I've heard "Crave Case" on their radio ads all the time. I was thinking 10 since at one time 20 was the biggest slider bundle you could buy....
