Is he the first contestant from West Virginia on the syndicated Millionaire? I don't remember any others.

Sam Murray, who won the million dollar tournament a few years ago, is from WV and lives there now. I think he might have been living in Philadelphia when he was on the show.

Sam Murray was listed as from Philly.

I checked mikehardware's spreadsheets (through 2007 or so) and no Syndi contestants were listed from WV at the time. Maybe there were some after then.
