I've been in 1st the entire month on TQOTD as newtex. I'm probably jinxing myself but I know it won't last so I had to brag a bit.

It depends on when you play. I've also been first all month when I checked my position after answering the question, but that's probably because I usually play shortly after midnight, when I get the reminder e-mail. If you play later in the day, then I guess you're higher than me. I haven't missed yet, but I'm still too slow.

I got five in a row up to yesterday, which put me on Page One, although never above 15 or so. I got today's right also, but I must have been too slow -- I'm on Page Two now. Maybe even Page Three.

I'm sure that's true, Confessor. That's one reason why I waited until the afternoon yesterday to check the standings. I too put in a brief appearance in 1st earlier in the week when I went through my question backlog late in the afternoon. But, considering I "fat finger" Sploofus more than I did in TOPG, that was obviously a computer error.

I'm stuck on the 13th floor but just got a 14.3% one that asked who wrote three books I had never heard of. I picked the one author on the list I had never heard of. That usually works with Buzztime too.
On the other hand a couple of days ago I had a Music question where I had never heard of the songs or any of the groups. The percentage was 20 so apparently no one else had either.

Usually, four correct answers in a row will at least get me to Page 2, but Page 9 is the best I can do. I must have done worse at the start of the month than I remember.
