Transcript 3/5/2013 Steve Simons

#1 Post by BBTranscriptTeam » Tue Mar 05, 2013 8:18 pm

They return to show drink glasses on the podium in front of the news contestant.

Steve Simons
Northvale, NJ
Bartender

In honor of finally meeting Mere, he created a new drink he called a "Vieira" and was allowed to mix it right there at the Hot Podium.
"It's a sweet nutty drink just like you." It's vanilla vodka, hazelnut liqueur, a little Irish cream, and a little half and half.
Mere said that sounds very rich, and Steve said it is a little rich "just like you" (audience laugh)
Steve said they normally put nutmeg garnish on top but not now as they are out of it.
They will drink if he reaches the million and he promises to add the drink to his regular menu if he does so.

I won't spend my bread buying tickets for the 2013 festival....
By the way, have you ever noticed how lame the "best of" comedy festival jokes are, when they are just written down on paper ?

This leaves me with a bit of a sense of "really?". Even if it is true that the peak temperature for a minute period of time for a minute distance around a lightning bolt is higher.

So far, so good.
-- In Iroquois society, leaders are encouraged to remember seven generations in the past and consider seven generations in the future when making decisions that affect the people.
-- America would be a better place if leaders would do more long-term thinking. -- Wilma Mankiller
