Favorite Atlantic 10 names

#1 Post by mellytu74 » Wed Mar 12, 2008 7:35 pm

Tonight, one of our favorite A-10 players will go home (although possibly to the NIT).

Rhode Island senior Parfait Bittee vs. Charlotte's Leemire Goldwire. We just LOVE their names.

Of course, our favorite name is Temple's Dionte Christmas - or Dante Natale as our section calls him.

Didn't God Shamgod go to an A-10 school? Maybe URI?

Didn't God Shamgod go to Providence?

I'll have to check.

Sirvalient Brown went to GW. Another fine name.

The RI part is right - but it was Providence - in the Big East

The Leemire Goldwires beat the Parfait Bittees 75-73 on fouls shots in the final second.

Charlotte will now face UMass in the quarterfinals, while Mr. Bittee and the URI Rams and their 21-11 record to the NIT.

Rhode Island was 14-1 at one point.

Go, Charlotte 49ers!

Except these 9:30 games suck for newspapering, and we have them all the way through as long as we win.
