Although, I would also have to admit that I am laughing with him and not at him as you might be. Everything from his Rush to Vote antics to Shanklin's new Spitzer parody - it's a riot today. I can just picture all the high-minded Dems running around in a tizzy yelling "what do we do, what do we do?"

Chances are that Obama won't be able to win a clear majority of the delegates, either. Clinton is attempting to put together a "dream ticket", but Obama is having none of it. His comments in Mississippi were something to the effect that the #2 has no business telling the #1 that he should take the second spot on the ticket.

Won't happen - even if she were inclined, I doubt Obama would take her on the ticket. I've heard rumors that he's considering John Edwards for the role, but might choose someone else. If Clinton ends up with the nomination, I think she'd be well advised to select someone like Bill Richardson for the #2 slot. But what do I know?

OTOH if the nomination isn't decided until the convention and the superdelegates get involved, it's possible we could have a shotgun wedding of Obama and Clinton.

But no matter what happens, I'm mindful of the line from Simon & Garfunkle's "Mrs. Robinson".

Why would she want to do that? She has already been co-President (at least in her own mind).
