I would sign the petition for him to run for office, but I don't think that I would vote for him.

It's all his fault. That'll be $10.

I don't know...I think he would be able to kill bad bills quickly, rather than let them die slowly in committee...
Enough already. It's my fault! Get over it!

That'll be $10, please.

He's an old white guy with an insatiable appetite for death. I'm guessing that he's a neocon Republican.

Wouldn't a penchant for assisting in the death of the helpless be more of a liberal trait?
Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

Even if Kevorkian were a liberal, I would NEVER vote for him--not even for dog catcher.

I always thought that this level of conviction of a crime meant that you could never run for public office. Has that changed or is it a state by state law?

I like it when BBs can find common ground.

These days, being a criminal seems to be a requirement for running for public office... :P
