Anyone want to buy WWTBAM?

#1 Post by MarleysGh0st » Wed Mar 12, 2008 8:50 am

2waytraffic, which bought the show from Celador in December 2006, is considering selling it now. Endemol is among the possible buyers.

It would serve you right - if there's any justice, the new owners will consider YOU to be a MAWG!

well if we "buy the show" we can't be on the show! So it's a no win situation.

It may be too late to get into this deal. 2waytraffic just agreed to a takover offer from Sony for $276.9 million.

Does 2waytraffic have any creative control over the US version of WWTBAM or does Valleycrest have all of that power from licensing the game? Might we see some changes in our show if it becomes a member of the Sony family alongside WOF and Jeopardy?

I think they will have a couple of MAWG only theme week shows....young MAWGs, older MAWGS and maybe even really old MAWGS.
