I don't think anyone but the most obsessive Pacino/Godfather fan would know this answer. It's a matter of how "apt" the coincidence is, with his own character's hometown seeming the most so (even if the phrasing didn't include that hint word). If Andy had been able to notice this wasn't a level 8-10 question (WWOQ territory) he might have been more confident in going with his hunch.

Once again, we see* contestants hesitant to sing/recite on stage, even when that's what's called for to answer the question. I hit the pause button and gave it a try. Took me a while, but I got it!

*Of course, it's possible Andy did try this, but TPTB edited it out of the tape. If so, shame on them!

Of course, it's easier now than it was when the show was taped.

Because people forget their carols in between Christmas seasons? :?

In the interest of full disclosure, although there was a certain amount of pride in this LS cellarmeister's being able to recall any song lyric, I wasn't trying to criticize Andy for being unable to recall it. I was criticizing the game play strategy of not trying, the difficulty of successfully doing so under the pressure of the situation notwithstanding.

Alternately, I'm criticizing TPTB for editing the tape to give that impression.

It would take me a minute or two to run through the lyrics to each of these (and hope the mention is in the 1st verse - which, as it turns out, it was). And just to nurse a pet peeve, it's "God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen". It's not a call to merry gentlemen, it's a call for gentlemen to rest merry.

"Dorf" is "village". That makes C the only choice.
