$5500 an HOUR???

#1 Post by gsabc » Tue Mar 11, 2008 7:11 am

Normally, when stuff like Gov. Spitzer's endeavors comes on the news, I tune out. One statistic jumped at me, though. The bordello (call it what you want, that's still what it is) charges up to $5500 per hour for its services.

Inquiring minds want to know: What in the name of Heidi Fleiss do you get for that kind of money? Tag teams? A preview of the 79 virgins awaiting you? Whips and midgets?

Aside: I was gonna ask WTF, but it just seemed too appropriate a question, all things considered.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

Damn, those hos must have an even better union than we plumbers do! That's almost double my standard rate.

I'll bet they don't get 183 paid holidays a year, though....

Wow-just doing the math in my head-

Average guy-with prelims and so forth-prolly can be in-done and out in 10 minutes (Max)-we will allow 15 minutes for clean up and so forth-

4 customers an hour- $22,500*8 hours =180K per shift-wow that is real money.

When I told Jeff about the going rate, he thought that I said $500 an hour and thought that it was pricey. He can't even imagine paying $5500 an hour.

Between lawyer fees and other indicental costs, Spitzer is going to end up paying a lot more than $4300 for that hour of sex.

Apparently that $4300 was after a previous credit was applied. ($2300 IIRC)

Wonkette has pictures from the Emperors website

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

The price, though, is probably based in part on the ratings. Diamonds are expensive, after all, especially when they come in multiples.

Apparently he paid about $4600 for a total of four hours but used only two hours.

Given the fact that the top rate is $5,500, his frugality is to be commended.

Call it what you want, but don't call it a bordello. A bordello is a building. If Spitzer had gone to a bordello instead of paying someone to cross state lines, he wouldn't be risking Federal prosecution under the Mann Act.

Seems one of the booking agent lives right up the road from me. It made the front page of the Poughtown Journal.

She seems to be in hiding.

She is also a member of the Rhinebeck Chamber of Commerce (for another business, I guess).

Hollander runs a business of her own. According to her business Web site, she specializes in holistic health counseling.

She is listed as a member of the Rhinebeck Chamber of Commerce on the chamber's Web site.

"It is my belief that a true holistic approach toward food also includes other things that nourish you," the site reads. "These include love, intimacy, enjoying your work, moving your body, touch, and time with friends and loved ones, to name a few."
And this sounds vaguely dirty in this context.
In 2007, Hollander and a health colleague held a sleepover for insomniacs at Innerspace in the Village of Rhinebeck.

I wonder if she's related to Xaviera Hollander.

She certainly has set the 'woo-woo' businesses back a step or two.

I am driving by her house this afternoon, maybe I'll rubberneck a bit.

Then there is this captioned picture from Wonkette:

People pay $5500 for sex when they are so rich that money doesn't have any meaning.

I can't imagine he is that rich, is he?

I forget the exact numbers they were quoting this morning, but his family has loads of it. I'd say he's "that rich".

With all these replies, I still haven't had my question answered. What do you GET for that kind of money? What could seem so worthwhile sexually that you would be willing to fork over (yeah, different letters between the F and K) that much moolah? For a day, maybe, but for a single hour??? Has anyone found a link to such information?
