Daylight Savings Time test
Do I need to reset my time? Or is that handled automatically? --Bob

Re: Daylight Savings Time test
All of the MM's I registered prior to DST ending in November remained an hour ahead the last couple months, so I'm assuming it needs to be done manually.Bob78164 wrote:Do I need to reset my time? Or is that handled automatically? --Bob
Guess I'll find out for sure now....

Not only was it corrected automatically, it was corrected in the wrong direction to GMT - 6. Unless it began to believe I was in Armstrong, Ontario. on a train. Or along with Duke Ellington and Steely Dan in East St. Louis. Maybe. Or in sweet electric blues home Chicago. Now back to GMT - 5. Should be GMT - 4.
Pea should see "GMT - 5 hours" also. Corresponds to her observation.

Time Change
If you don't know your GMT offset, go to:
http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/
and pick a city that is in your time zone. Six lines down from the name of the city is the Current time zone offset. Log into your Bored account and click on "Profile." There is a drop-down near the bottom that has your GMT offset setting. Change this to what you found on the timeanddate site. To verify, you don't even need to send a message. Start to reply to an existing message and click the "Preview" button. You will see the adjusted time at the top of the preview.

Thanks, Esto.Estonut wrote:If you don't know your GMT offset, go to:

And as I hit submit, I will find out if I got it right.

I didn't change anything in my profile, but the time is correct when I hit Preview. I guess I've been posting an hour off since last fall.
