Jim, which session were you in? I was also at the audition and got the video interview.

I was in the 2nd group. about 25 of us passed the written test and 10 of us made it to video interview. My friend was in first group and he thought about 50 made it through the test in the first group.

Ok, I was in the 4th group. About 20 passed here in that group.

Auditioned the 23rd here. The turnout in Houston was pretty impressive. They had a little under a thousand people audition (groups of 200, the fifth group wasn't quite full).

I didn't get an exact count, but it seemed like a little over 100 people passed the written test and got the first interview. The people from the show, wearing their matching blue polo shirts, seemed overwhelmed at the turnout and success on the tests. They gave times for interviews for each testing group 30 minutes apart, but they were an hour behind by the time they got to Group 3 (yay Texas I guess).

Asking around the first 3 groups (so the first 600 people), there were a couple people that were on their third audition and quite a few second audition people. They seemed to think I was crazy for auditioning a sixth time. That said, I finally passed the written test for the first time, and my interview went well, and I got the on-camera interview. Still waiting on the postcard (should be another 2 weeks), but I think I've got a good shot at it.

Here's to hoping the long-haired grad student math teacher on his 6th audition makes it! Oh, and they specified that graduate students were to be considered for college-themed episodes, so that was different.

I'm still in purgatory, have not received a card yet whether I'm in or out. They said 3-4 weeks and this is week 4 so I'm not in panic mode............yet.
