McCain locks it up

#1 Post by Buffacuse » Tue Mar 04, 2008 8:11 pm

Who'd a thunk this last fall, when he looked deader than a doornail?

He will be very, very hard to beat...apart from his qualifications, he LOOKS like a President.

I still harbor a notion that a large segment of this country finds older white guys with white hair comforting...we like our airline pilots to look that way, our doctors, and probably our Presidents. I think we're one or two elections away from really, truly being comfortable with a young black man or a woman as President.

Hillary is doing very well in Ohio. I hope that she wins in Texas as well.

Yeah for Rhode Island.

I was away from TV for three hours. I was almost afraid to check the results.

Buffacuse and I are on way different tracks here -- I think a U.S. President looks like Clinton or Obama, and I think most voters are very comfortable with the idea.

Airline pilots should look about 40, women or men, I don't care.

My doc has to look like a woman because she has to be a woman.

I don't care what gender cuts my hair, but I've never seen a male manicurist. I wonder if there are any.

And on and on...

DREAM TEAM: Clinton/Obama 08.

I know what I like my contestants to look like.

For a graphic illustration, see Marley's picture and then reverse every single trait....

McCain looks like an ex-president.

Remember Jack Lemmon in "My Fellow Americans"? The resemblance is frightening.

He looks like a guy who has been beat up by life and for whom I would buy life insurance.

Different eyes, different thoughts.

Ain't this country great?

50% of the time I have my pedicures done by a man.

I would say 50% of the employees of the shop are men.

They also don't look anything like me.

Most of the shops here are owned by men and they do work there as well.

So Democrats in Pennsylvania will have their say, after all!

Later today, Big Mac is heading over to the White House to get the endorsement of Mr. 19%.

I hope McCain bearhugs Bush all the way to November. I want to see lots of pictures and video of the two of them together. That will guarantee that McCain will lose, no matter which Democrat has the nomination.

They guys who own my shop are Carson Kressley and Danny Noriega lookalikes.

But I like the middle-aged woman who does me, even though she SNUCK MORE BLONDE IN MY MIX!!!! Even she admitted it was too light for me afterwards.

But she is ruthless on the length. If she's too busy and I have to use another stylist, the next time she gets her hands on my head she hacks off 6 inches before she does anything else....
