Biggest biggest hugs. Just want to give you the sort of big squeeze you give someone when you want to make things all better.

Prayers your way.

IF this truly is the end, TBone, it sounds like the way I'd like to go -- on ym own terms, with friends and family around.

TBone --

I am so sorry to hear this. It sounds like she has a great support system in place. You are in mine and Tracey's thoughts. By the way, if you are still looking for assistance on the stuff we discussed a few months ago, we (okay, she) is still hoping to help. You still have our number, right?

Mr. Bone-it makes me sad that your mom is having to endure such discomfort, and you and your family such pain knowing she's going to be gone soon.
But the blazing love that your family has for one another just makes me cry, in a good way!, and the humor that obviously is genetic, based on your mom conversation, lets me know you all will be all right. She'll be feelin' all right, too.
Prayers and hugs and everything to you and yours. Sorry I'm so late in this, we've had visitors all weekend.

Kim
Well, then

I just 1st read this.

I'm so sorry.

I wish medical research were working constantly on the stuff it ought to be working on, instead of figuring out a 3rd & 4th way to make a tangentially "better" loop-de-doop.

I wish a lot of things.

Be strong, but you already are.

Yes, I do. I had a question or two a while back, but now I forgot. I have been doing pretty well but I'm sure I can do better. I'll be in touch when things are less..well, you know.

Thanks to you and Tracey.

Tomorrow morning they are doing a procedure (not a tracheotomy or anything that will artificially keep her going) that should ease some of the discomfort as she reaches the end of the road. She decided to go for it even though she knows she may not come out of the sedation. It's not gonna cure her, but hopefully it will ease some of the agony she's going through right now.

Either way, tomorrow her suffering will be lessened.

Thanks again for all of your kind words.

I can't add anything to what the others have been saying. You and your family have my thoughts and prayers for the strength to get through all of this in the best manner possible.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

Good news for a change. The procedure they did this morning worked pretty well. She is breathing easier. This will make more of the time she has left bearable. I didn't go over tonight because of the weather, and the fact that I am a bit sniffly tonight. Last thing she needs is me bringing in germs. I talked to her on the phone, though.

I think I will turn in early tonight after Idol and my obligatory opinionated bag-o-wind review.

This is very good. I know you all feel better, knowing that your mom is breathing easier.

Continued prayers are headed your way.

That is good news.

You are a strong man.

Hugs coming your way TBone.

You are dealing with a difficult thing.

I am sure that having your around her will be a great source of comfort for her. Well, except maybe the singing thing!
