As for me, it's the same as my dad's and granddad's, Philip. Except that my grandfather was baptized Phillip, so I don't know if I was actually a III all my life or only a Jr. Hmmm.....

Boy, Marley. I can't believe you started a thread demanding that people reveal their middle names. Isn't that obtrusive???

I was not and am not asking for that information, but this thread had taken on a life of its own. 100 replies to a casual, Friday afternoon post is pretty impressive!starfish1113 wrote:Boy, Marley. My middle name is Michelle after the Beatles song. It won the Grammy for best song the year I was born, I think.
Hubby's middle name is Paul. Paul McCartney wrote Michelle, ma belle.
Both my kids middle names come from the last names of two of our favorite people.
Michael after the chairman of the theatre dept at Indiana Univ. where I got my MFA. And his wife, Bankert, my speech coach and dear friend.
Isaac Michael and Ivy Bankert

I'm still not telling my middle name, but I'll tell you about my brother's. He was named after our grandfathers, so his first name is Clifford, and his middle name is Odell. His initials are C.O.W.PlacentiaSoccerMom wrote:You guys are having too much fun with this thread.MarleysGh0st wrote:Ha!littlebeast13 wrote:

When you're 5, things like this are hysterical.
Enough already. It's my fault! Get over it!

The good old days were when me and mini would answer each other under a different MM each time. Hell, that's how half of our MM's came into being.... Of course, now mini's become an MM slacker....![]()
And when Eyegor would join us..... it was a veritable Bored Par-tay.....

For whoever is keeping score, my middle name is also Lynn.

When I was in second grade, everyone sat around comparing nicknames. I was left out because I didn't have one.
The coolest group of girls had Lynn as a middle name, so I decided that I wanted Lynn as my middle name too. I started writing it on all of my papers. Julie Lynn doesn't sound so great, neither does Julianna Lynn.
My mom found out that I had "borrowed" a middle name, and told me that I couldn't use it.
It's funny that so many of you that I like on the bored have Lynn as a middle name.
But you don't need to call me Placentia Lynn Soccer Mom.

You guessed it, Lynn! But it was just kind of placeholder until I got a confirmation name (it's an IRC thing, you wouldn't understand.).
