It's the first episode for the two-episode stations, so it will be on the one-episode stations as well. I'm David, the spoiler on the left, wearing a blue shirt and striped tie.

I guess the WWTBAM APs didn't warn the Crosswords APs about that!earendel wrote:NOT THE DREADED BLUE SHIRT!!!!!!plasticene wrote:Don't miss it if you can!

All I can say is that when I was on BAM, the "wardrobe mistress" chose the blue shirt that I took from the two that I brought with me, so it was her fault that I was in the MAWG uniform my first show. For the second, I didn't take a blue shirt at all.MarleysGh0st wrote:I guess the WWTBAM APs didn't warn the Crosswords APs about that!earendel wrote:NOT THE DREADED BLUE SHIRT!!!!!!plasticene wrote:Don't miss it if you can!

Re: Plasticene's Crosswords episode airs on Wednesday
I have a blue shirt saga of my own. I brought three shirts, as requested: a green one, a blue one, and a brown one with a subtle pattern. The AP in charge immediately chose the green one, which was my favorite as well.earendel wrote:All I can say is that when I was on BAM, the "wardrobe mistress" chose the blue shirt that I took from the two that I brought with me, so it was her fault that I was in the MAWG uniform my first show. But once the five players for my episode were chosen, it turned out that one of the other two men was also wearing a green shirt, and he hadn't brought any others. I brought my other shirts out, and the AP pointed to the blue one and said she would throw a tie on it and it would be great. I think she wanted to hide the white buttons, which might have been too bright.
Thanks for everyone's good wishes, and I'll be sure to bump this thread on Wednesday morning.

I guess describing my TV wardrobe in detail was a little superfluous! The funny thing is that I chose to use my own picture in my avatar so that people who haven't met me would feel a little more like they knew me when my show aired, but I didn't think about that when I wrote down my description.dodgersteve182 wrote:Not the bearded one in the gray shirt?
If anyone has been curious, that's a three-toed* sloth named Buttercup that I'm making goo-goo eyes at in my avatar. OperaSinger and I visited the Sloth Sanctuary near Limon, Costa Rica, during our Panama Canal cruise over the Christmas and New Year's holidays.
*You may have heard of two-toed sloths and three-toed sloths, but all sloths have three "toes" on their "feet". It's the number of claws on their "hands" that differentiate the two families of sloths. The confusion possibly comes from a mis-translation of the Spanish dedos, which, like "digits", can mean either fingers or toes.

I haven't seen the show yet (it was broadcast this morning at 4:30AM), but I had a dream last night that plasticene won almost a million dollars on the show (the exact figure was $795,300). Of course I know that's impossible given the show payouts, but it was a nice dream.

It wouldn't surprise me if David won a record amount on the show. I know that he beat Jeff at Scrabble and he is very gifted with language.earendel wrote:I haven't seen the show yet (it was broadcast this morning at 4:30AM), but I had a dream last night that plasticene won almost a million dollars on the show (the exact figure was $795,300). Just aired here, or will be done soon. That was fun.
