South Park in a Ground Blizzard...

#1 Post by SportsFan68 » Sun Mar 02, 2008 6:49 pm

I can see how South Park got a rep for UFOs . . . I was seeing stuff that I didn't believe, much less any normal person.

When I could see, of course.

I finally caught up to a BIG RED TRUCK and followed it until he went the wrong direction.

Home safe now, doing laundry and giving my sweetiepie Casey lots of scritches. She missed me.

I hope that Kenny is safe.

My girls said it was nasty in Denver too. :(

I was thinking about Kenny as I was grumbling my way across the park, even though I've never seen even one minute of South Park ... stuff like, "Where's Kenny, send the little twerp out here, let him break trail..."

I don't know any of the other characters, I know Kenny only because he keeps getting killed and resurrected.

Memo to self: Do not EVER EVER EVER drive across South Park in a ground blizzard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Twice is more than enough. The first time was at night, though, so today was actually some improvement.

Hope your girls are OK, Bob. It was very messy. I was lucky to follow a snowplow up Turkey Creek Canyon. I was also lucky not to have to go out on I-70 -- closed both directions because of accidents.

The weather channel mentioned Durango and all the snow they were gonna get.

Made me think "I bet my brother is glad he doesn't live there any more."

Just heard from my boss - he and some buddies spent the weekend skiing in Telluride. I had to reschedule some stuff set for this a.m. as he is still on the ground there. They were supposed to leave last night. He thinks they will get out today.

That's a good excuse!

It worked for him - they got in an additional afternoon of fresh powder yesterday. He is in the office now - it was a private plane.
