A new experience

#1 Post by Bob78164 » Thu Feb 28, 2008 12:05 am

For the first time ever, I'll be going to March Madness. I have a substantial potential client, so the firm is willing to pick up the tab for two tickets to the second round in Anaheim. With any luck at all, I'll get to see UCLA advance to the Sweet Sixteen. And with more luck, I'll convert the potential to actual.

Wish me luck! --Bob

Good luck having a productive and tax deductible "business meeting".

I am going to see if I can score some tickets for my wife to see Kansas play, as Omaha is hosting 1st and 2nd round games. Usually, you can get tickets from dejected fans of 1st round losers, especially if a high seeded team loses.

IIRC, the last time that the State of Nebraska held 1st and 2nd round games, it was in 1988 -- the year that KU won it all (and I was able to get tickets for the Final Four in KC.)

Good luck with the client and have fun at the game. I would love to see an NCAA Tournament game in person. It looks like one of the most fun atmospheres in sports.
