10 years ago today...
I left my wife. It was the hardest thing I ever did, even though I knew that neither one of us was happy. It was also the best thing I ever did since that decision eventually led me to where I am now. The divorce was finally final in November 1998, about three weeks after I first met Jennifer...

That looks like a good first paragraph to a novel.
..what country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? let them take arms.

I really am blessed to have the family I have now. Jennifer is about as close to a "soul-mate" as I could ever have, and we are raising two wonderful boys. I wouldn't be where I am now if not for that divorce... But it was hell going through it at the time, dealing with the guilt and the loss of friends and in-laws, etc.lilclyde54 wrote:For the first 6-8 months after my divorce, you could not have convinced me anything good could have come from it.
