Amnesia

#1 Post by starfish1113 » Sat Feb 23, 2008 9:45 am

I think that was the name of the show. I saw about five minutes of it and it was worse than awful. Dennis Miller doing his blue shtick while a contestant tries to remember the sound of a bell that kept ringing while he and his wife did it in their bed. The only other question I saw was having him guess which of five photos was used in for the December photo of his calendar. Stupid, boring, pointless. I cannot believe it made it onto major network primetime. Hopefully, it's a one and done.

I think I may have taped it.

I now wonder if I will watch the entire show before I decide to not watch another one.

I didn't know Deniis Miller was involved.

I put him on my shitlist after Duel.

I hope to get amnesia so I can forget about this show. It sucked.

Starting next Friday, it moves to 8 PM. It'll be going up against "The Price Is Right Million-Dollar Spectaculars", so it'll thankfully be put out of its misery.

I'm so old.

I can remember when Dennis Miller said something humorous.

Dennis Miller sucks now.

9/11/01 did him in, I think.

He's not the only one who's "come undone" over that.

Rec!

I posted way back when that since George Miller had died, Dennis must have felt some last-name-sharing obligation to become the most unfunny guy around.

When I'd see George Miller on Letterman, and he was so consistently not funny, I'd sometimes wonder whether he was deliberately trying to play the role of the world's worst comedian, like that was his schtick or something.

Jimmy Walker was his only competition back then.

Dennis Miller is the worst I've seen, though.

I do miss George Miller now though. He seemed like a sweet guy.

He was funny when Ric Overton was still writing his jokes.

Maybe I'm disremembering (again) but it seems that George Miller befriended DL when DL was anything but funny. David (I call him David) never forgot GM's kindness.

The conservatives have Dennis Miller.

The liberals have Al Franken.

Between the two of them at least Dennis used to be funny. Al never was. O.K.,he had that Stuart Smally character. That was funny the first time.

Huh? What's Miller got to do with Duel?
