Not exclusively. William Wrigley built stuff all over SoCal and Arizona, too. He was the primary developer of Catalina Island, off of our coast. The Wrigley mansion there is now a bed & breakfast. He also built a home in Pasadena so his wife could enjoy the Rose Parade. That house now serves as the HQ for the parade. He once owned the Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix and built a mansion on the grounds. I would not be surprised to hear of Wrigley mansions elsewhere, either. I've heard of a Wrigley Hall in San Diego, but don't know whether or not it is related to William and his family.

Why would you burn the ATA on this WWOQ before the JTQ? Unlike Matt, I did see this movie, but Gizmo's voice didn't sound like any of these comedians, it was a Gremlin voice! Like a baby voice. Any of them might have done it, but I certainly don't remember the credits from the movie or any related publicity that might have mentioned it. And I wouldn't expect the audience to remember it, either.

A couple years ago NPR ran a story on the phrase "it's not rocket science", asking rocket scientists what they said instead. Evidently they use "it's not brain surgery".

I remembered it and so did enough of the audience.

41% was "enough of the audience"? Even with a significant 28% second place spike? Would you go with such a thin plurality if you didn't remember the answer?

It's similar in Russian-- the expression there is 'that's Chinese grammar to me.'
Innocent, naive and whimsical. And somewhat footloose and fancy-free.

Howie Mandel had a character (named Bobby) who talked in a baby voice. I'm pretty sure he even had his own show for a few weeks (or years).

Bobby's World! I think that was part of the Fox cartoon block on after school in the early 90's, though I only remember the commercials for it....

In 1961, MLB had two tenants of Wrigley Field -- Chicago Cubs and Los Angeles Angels. :)
