Jerry was a lot of fun to do the transcript for. Sorry about the occasionally weird formatting. I typed this up in Notepad and then copied it over. I'm going to have to try out some other text editors. (I'm also going to have to time it so I'm not trying to submit during the morning board down-time.)

According to my notes, that $100,000 question appeared in Facebook Millionaire as:

What movie icon's body was buried under six feet of concrete after it was stolen and recovered in 1978?
Spoiler
A: Alfred Hitchcock B: Charlie Chaplin
C: James Dean D: John Wayne

Let me say up front that I liked Jerry. He seemed like a nice guy and I can understand why he got on the show.

I thought he might go for it, given his statement. As for me, I would have used my first JTQ.

I'd probably have used ATA for this one and if the audience response wasn't good I'd JTQ.

Jerry used some very good reasoning on this, recognizing that the Louisiana Purchase was too early. Good for him in going for it.

Too bad - but again good for him for being willing to gamble on it. If I still had a lifeline available I'd use it here - from the comfort and safety of my recliner I guessed correctly but at the Hot Podium it would have been different.

I don't understand why the Louisiana Purchase would be too early? 1803 occurred in the 19th century!

I didn't know the answer, but I had a vague idea that his name had appeared in a WWTBAM question before. But now I believe that I was recollecting the question about picking out the real person's name from a list of made-up names, for which the correct answer was Cassius Coolidge (the "dogs playing poker" artist).

Because he thought that Cassius Clay was the son of Henry Clay (actually, they were cousins). --Bob

Bad question. Of the four responses, the best one is 102, but that is far below the maximum. They have lots of stuff at 2 for $.99 or even 4 for $.99. I guess the question writer has never been in a 99-cent store.
