There has been no fever for over 24 hours, and the cough is greatly eased.
I'm looking forward to hanging with the ladies in OKC and Norman this weekend
Herjosie is an excellent nurse, besides being adorable! Glad you're on the mend. You'll need to be in top form to keep 'some' peeps in line next weekend.

Just stepped outside. There's snowflakes falling that are bigger than my head!
And they aren't silver flakes either....

They made a big deal about this on the news last night. What we had was basically a 5 minute blizzard. White-out conditions were actually reported when the winds came rigth after those big flakes began to fall (And they rolled the footage to prove it). I happened to step outside for the first part of it, and was shocked to see 10 minutes later that the ground was covered in snow. By the time I went to bed an hour and a half later, the sun was out and the snow was all gone....
Now it's just ^*(!@^#(*@^ cold!!!!

It's obvious Norman, OK knows I'm heading their direction as the forecast for Thursday shows freezing rain. I would expect nothing else. Since that's the day I'm flying in, I sincerely hope they are wrong. Looks a bit better for the rest of the weekend, which is good. I just don't want to spend Thursday in airport hell.

What's your airport before Norman? We'll send a CARE package.

As I read the forecast, rain or drizzle will come overnight from late Wednesday to Thursday morning, when the temperature will be cold enough for the precipitation to freeze. Thursday's daytime temperature is projected as over freezing, so the roads (and runways) should be clear by the time you get here. If the forecast doesn't change for much worse, I'm not worried.

I'm flying out of Birmingham into Dallas Love Field. Dallas would be where any holdup would probably be. I'm scheduled to fly out of Dallas at 2:25PM
We can always hope the NWS is wrong with their prediction, or maybe it will arrive later in the day and I'll be in Norman by then.

Forecast for Dallas Thursday is rain, but nothing frozen. Your only weather problems should be in OKC & environs. Good luck and have fun!
Enough already. It's my fault! Get over it!
That'll be $10, please.

I'm driving in from Tulsa after school on Friday. Y'all be sure to have the streets clear by then, okay?
I've charged up the battery in my camera, and packed cough medicine and tissues and tea bags. There's no way I'm missing this!
