A. Lubrication
B. Capillarity
C. Surface tension
D. Viscosity

3. Speaking of fluid dynamics, whose principle is it that applies to the relationship of velocity to pressure in a fluid?

A. Archimedes
B. Bernoulli
C. Pascal
D. Poiseuille

4. A force that is applied in a curved path can produce a twisting effect that is also called a _____________.

A. Centrifugal force
B. Torque

You probably wanted B, but what about Hydrogen (the 'standard' H, not isotopic)? Then it would be C.

True. I'll probably rewrite it to change choice C before I use it anywhere else, so there isn't any confusion. This question stemmed from my frustration I felt after my first test in Physics this year, in which more than 25% of my students, juniors and seniors all with at least one year of Chemistry behind them, stated that the nucleus of the atom was made of protons and electrons. IKYN.

Maybe you should find that episode of "WKRP in Cincinnati" in which Venus explains to his nephew about the atom, using street gangs as examples.

Thanks to all for playing. I do notice the percentage of correct answers here is always much higher than any other forum where I post these kinds of questions.

Awwwww!

Mikey should have put his answers in a spoiler block, for the convenience of the latecomers. :)

Grrrrr. Doggone browser always wants to highlight an extra character or two when I'm highlighting text and deletes part of the brackets on me.
