ITHACA — Where else can you put your hand in a bucket of maggots and cheer on the fastest cockroach while you enjoy a fresh-baked cricket cookie?
No where but Cornell University's Insectapalooza 2007.
Tell your parents you've got to come to Ithaca tomorrow!

I don't think that's true. I think you can do all of that at the Purdue Bug Bowl every April as well.
Over 30,000 people attend the Bug Bowl each year. It's a huge event.

I don't think we'll get that many visitors here.
<sigh>
Does Purdue feature the bucket of maggots, though?

Well, they call them the basketball team, but it's pretty much the same thing....

You mean the basketball team that has won the most Big 10 games in its history.
The team that has won the most Big Ten basketball championships.
The team that has a winning record against every other team in the Big Ten.
That's what I thought.
No matter where you go, there you are.

This is over a sports team like Freud's dreams were about cigars and doughnuts, Marley.
You want bugs, go watch CSI.
