top o' the mornin'®
We had a wild and wooly night last night - severe weather moved through the area in waves - the first around 6:30, then again around 11:30. Most of the primetime network programming was wiped out by local stations trying to outdo each other in covering the storms. (As an aside, I find it interesting that the stations brag on their "state of the art equipment" for storm tracking, when actually they are all getting the same data from NOAA radars and such.) Our neighborhood didn't get any rain from either of the storm systems, but we did lose electrical power for a little while and elwing told me that the cable was knocked out during the second storm (I was long asleep).
